Plot summary: Mitch Albom recounts the time spent with his 79 year-old Sociology professor, Morrie Schwartz, who’s dying from a terminal disease. The book is based on the fourteen Tuesdays they met; As Schwartz condition deteriorates, so does the hibiscus plant atop his study. This represents the natural trajectory of life.
Opinion: “Tuesdays With Morrie” is one of the best books I’ve ever read. In my opinion, the best part of the book is when Morrie tells the story of a wave crashing into the shore, symbolising death.
